are elected each year at the AIS August Anniversary Celebration.

2017 – 2018 Ambassador Titles

We would like announce the new AIS Ambassador program and title opportunities.

This program replaces the AIS Princess program and offers title positions to both female and male candidates in three age categories.

Please review all requirements, application and selection process and deadlines with your family as you consider representing the American Indian Society of Washington DC.

To become an Ambassador for any organization is an important responsibility requiring many attributes of good character and leadership such as integrity, honesty, authenticity, generosity, perseverance, kindness, optimism, politeness, respectfulness, self-motivation, confidence, open-mindedness, positivity, friendliness and focus.

AIS Ambassadors will be recognized as official representatives of the American Indian Society of Washington DC. Each Ambassador will have many opportunities to educate and celebrate their unique tribal cultural and heritage on a local and national level. They will be recognized as role models, youth leaders and cultural Ambassadors for their peers, communities and tribal nations on behalf of our historic organization.

We look forward to hearing from each of you.
