AIS 2006 Anniversary Celebration

40th Anniversary Celebration
August 5, 2006
2 pm – 8 pm/approx.

Burgundy Community Center
5516 Norton Road
Alexandria, VA

Please bring a potluck dish and a cake for the cakewalk.

Here is your opportunity to support our 40th anniversary
Pick from of the following:
Bring a dish to pass for 15 people: choose main dish, salad, beverage or dessert
Bring a cake for the cakewalks
Get there 2 hours early to set up, work for 2 hours, need six people
Stay 1 hour after to clean up, need 6 people
Help with the entertainment committee: games for kids or games for grown ups, need six people
Help with the serving committee: 1 hour to serve food, maintain food levels on tables, need six people
Historical Committee set up and take down, pick one hour before or after to help, need six people
Buy a commemorative T-shirt - $15
Buy another merchandise, website page coming soon!

Directions to The Burgundy Community Center, 5516 Norton Road, Alexandria, VA 22303

From Maryland or points north:
Take 495 South to Richmond, cross the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Exit 176A Telegraph Road South (the exit will fork, stay to the left of the fork).
Come of the exit and remain in the right lane, go through traffic light. Take a right at the 2nd traffic light (between the boarded up 7-11 and the boarded up Exxon.

From Virginia or points south:
Take 495 North to Baltimore. Take Exit 176A, Telegraph Road South.. Stay in right lane coming off exit. Make a right at light at the end of the exit onto Telegraph Road.
Take a right at the first light (between boarded up 7-11 and boarded up Exxon.

**Continued directions from points north or south**
Take first right off Burgundy Rd onto East Drive which turns into Elmwood Drive. Continue on Elmwood Drive through one stop sign.
Make a right at second stop sign (Norton Road). Community Center is directly in front of you.-park in Carmeron Elementary School parking lot.
